Easter Eggs example-Microsoft :-Discover the Hidden games!!!!!!!

Before Reading this article please read my previous article What is an Easter egg??.so that it will be easy to under stand this article for you

Microsoft designers placing Easter eggs in there product from quite some time now.

The first Easter egg which was discovered in Windows 3.1 (1992) called as The Microsoft bear.

It was a teddy bear of one of the senior desiners of Microsoft windows 3.1.he always carry this bear with him

A drawing of him was used as the icon for the SETDEBUG.EXE and JDBGMGR.EXE system files. The odd icon gave credibility to the jdbgmgr.exe virus hoax, claiming that the files were part of a virus.[2] See SULFNBK.EXE for a similar hoax.

In office 95 Microsoft excel contains an doom like rpg game

How to open this game?

Step 1. Open Excel 95 with a blank work sheet
Step 2. Go down to the 95th row
Step 3. Select the whole row
Step 4. Tab over to coloum B
Step 5. Goto Help/About
Step 6. Hold down ctrl-alt-shift and click on the tech support button
Step 7. A window appears call "Hall of Tortured souls"

In Office 97

Microsoft Excel contains hidden flight simulator game

Requirements to play this game are
Windows 98 and IE 4.0

How to open the game?

step 1 Restart Excel 97 .
step 2 Open a new blank document
step 3 Press F5
step 4 A reference box will open , type in X97:L97 and press ENTER
step 5 Press TAB .This will take you to the cell M97
step 6 Click on the chart wizard button while holding down Control and Shift keys

step 1 Open Word 97.
step 2 Type "Blue"
step 3 The format of the Above text must be bold and blue.
step 4 Type " " (space) after word "Blue"
step 5 Go to Help -> About
step 6 Ctrl-Shift-Left click the Word icon/banner

Microsoft Access contained a hidden simulation of the Magic 8 Ball toy

step 1 create a new Access Database
step 2 click on the "Macros" menu
step 3 select "New."
step 4 Press the space bar and close the dialog box.
step 5 Click "Yes"
step 6 save the Macro as Magic Eight Ball
step 7 Click on the "View" menu
step 8 select "Toolbars > Customize."
step 9 Uncheck the macro toolbar option.



Office 2000

Microsoft access\Excel contains a hidden game Dev hunter

Requirements to play this game are

Windows 98 and IE 4.0 DirectX

[note:This game is incompatible with certain service pack upgrades]

How to open Dev hunter?
step 1 Open Microsoft Excel.
step 2 Save as web page
step 3 click on Selection:Sheet Button and check add interactivity.
step 4 Save
step 5 Close Microsoft excel Open the file in internet explorer.It is called "page.htm" by default.
step 6 .In the table that comes scroll down to the number 2000 such that the number 2000 occupies the first row.
step 7 Scroll right to letters WC until WC occupies the left most column.
step 8 Now click on 2000.The whole row gets highlighted.
step 9 Then hold ctrl+shift+alt and then click on the microsoft logo on the top left of the box.

How to change software \ program name in "open with" option

Windows Cairo :-  Cairo was Bill gates vision of "information at your fingertips". Microsoft operating designers works on this operating system for almost 6 years 1991-1996. Cairo was announced at the 1991 Microsoft Professional Developers Conference by Jim Allchin. Microsoft also gave a demo O.S. to some pepole. Some key- feature of Cairo OS Cairo used distributed computing. User interface developed for Cairo was later used in Windows 95.    2. Nashville :- Nashville was operating system by Microsoft Windows scheduled to be released in 1996. Nashville added Internet integration features to the Windows 95 and NT 4.0 desktop.
