Change The Internet Key’s Functionality

Almost all keyboards,come with special keys including an Internet key.but in this article we will make that key load another application instead of the browser. To do this

Follow steps given below

Step 1

Open Registry Editor (Start > run > regedit ), Follow path

Step 2

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Explorer > Appkey > 7.

Step 3

Right-click in the right pane select New > String Value

Enter the name as “ShellExecute”. Double-click on the newly-created String Value and enter the Value as the path of the file you want to run when you press the Internet Key.

Click OK.

Done

Some of my freinds were curious to know that how to play music through cmd so here are the two solutions that i have - SOLUTION 1: If u wan't to play the song with whichever player u have in default , just do the following- Goto to place where you have your song . How to change software \ program name in "open with" option
